I always knew Dad loved Mom. He would come home from work and give her an affectionate hug while she was cooking supper. Dad would say hello little Mama McFadden as he hugged her and gave her the Bagley pat on the shoulder. Then he would take a big wooden spoon and start sampling the cooking. Other times he would be working on a project, maybe under a sink or something and he would call out, "hey Glo would you bring me such and such". Dad's nickname for Mom fits her well. She radiates happiness.
Mom faithfully made Dad a "Lutefisk Dunderwiger" (Dad's name for a tuna fish sandwich) every day for his lunch that he took to work for over 30 years. They were all made with love.
