It was another great summer barbecue. This time in addition to hamburgers Mom had some buffalo burgers too. I remember Craig telling her he wasn't interested in trying one even though she insisted that it would be really good. When he finished the burger she made sure first that he had liked it and then informed him that it was actually one of the buffalo burgers that he had eaten. Even though he didn't appreciate being tricked like that there are a number of things that he does appreciate.
When she found out that he really liked her plum raspberry syrup she would make some and give it to him for his birthday every year. Also, she was more than happy to provide a nice place for us to live temporarily after Craig got back from being deployed in Saudi Arabia during the gulf war.
Craig has always appreciated Mom and all that she does for us and our family. She has always been there for us whenever we needed help.
